Facebook has announced the another major change today at its f8 developer conference.
Mark Zukerberg said “This is the heart of the Facebook experience, completely rethought from the ground up. We’re calling it ‘Timeline,”
Yes ! They are calling it the "Timeline", lets tell you what Zukerberg said about the 'Timeline'
“Timeline is the story of your life: all your stories, all your apps and a new way to express who you are.” said Zukerberg
The new profile pages reminded me the Orkut - the social network owned by the Google. Facebook's new profile pages feels are similar the Orkut. Although ! the change is great the UI is interesting, and I hope UX will remain better as it used to be.
The users have complete control over who sees what parts of their timeline. Thankfully!
